After a busy day with family we settled down to get ready for Santa's visit. Sophie said good bye to Ollie. When I explained to her that he won't be coming back till next Christmas she kept asking me, "why?" I tried to make her understand that his work was done and that Santa needed his help at the North Pole but I'm not sure she understands. We will look forward to seeing him return next year.
Since Madison was little Daddy has always read Twas the Night Before Christmas and then the story of Jesus's birth from the gospel of Luke. We always like to end the night with Jesus so that our focus is on the true reason for Christmas.
