Year End Review

At the end of the month, Camden and I headed out together to do our annual year end review.  We began the day with a glass of wine and time together reflecting on 2012.  We made a list of all the big things that happened with our little family.   Madison graduated from High School.  There was prom and parties.  Sophie's spent a week at Kosair's with a ruptured appendix.  We sold our house.  I switched jobs.  UK won a National Championship in basketball.  Like most years there was good and bad but always the hope of a new beginning.

"Since before time began no one has ever imagined, No ear heard, no eye seen, a God like you who works for those who wait for him.  You meet those who happily do what is right, who keep a good memory of the way you work."

Isaiah 64:4-5

Christmas Day

Christmas always means a new Christmas dress.

One of the many fun things about having a little girl.

Instead of traditional red, we chose a beautiful Laura Ashley Gold and Silver one.

 Sophie was stunning!

Growing more beautiful each day.

We headed out to do Christmas with Granny, the Pike's and the Hardy's.

The kids are all growing up so fast.

Camden enjoying Christmas.

The girls loved their new glamour sets.

This year Sophie received her first official American Girl Doll and a beautiful Barbie.  It was so fun!

 Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Tonight was our annual Christmas Eve dinner at Mamoo's & Pappy's.  We all look forward to it.

Mamoo's house is always decorated so pretty and the food is always yummy.

Madison with his Mamoo.  He loves her so much!

Sophie loved her Barbie Veterinarian Puppy.  One of the many gifts she received that night.

I was just happy to be with my family.   I am so grateful to them for their love and support this year.  They have been amazingly supportive during a pretty rough year.

We all had fun and laughed with each other.  Excited for Santa to come.

As we do every Christmas Eve, Daddy curled up with his children to read them the Christmas story from the Bible.  This year it was read from a Bible app he keeps on his iPhone.  How times have changed.

A different method but always the same beautiful story of the Baby Jesus.
