February-2012
There was much to celebrate in February. I graduated from Dispatch Academy. I was finished and it was a relief. My dad had a successful surgery. The tumor was removed and it was not cancer. He was back to his old self in no time and we were so relieved. On the 22nd it was time celebrate one of the happiest days of our life, Sophie's Gotcha Day! She had been home now for 3 years and we decided to take her to Shogun Japanese Steak House. She was a little apprehensive about the flames and the smoke at first but once she tasted the food and the Chef teased her a few times, she loved it and asked us the next day if we could go back.
We also were full blown into getting ready for our eldest to graduate and decide about college. Madison and Camden were filling out scholarship applications weekly and we were looking forward to this exciting time in Madison's life.
I have been a stay at home mom for 17 years. Two years ago we decided to add to our family through the miracle of adoption. While most of my friends are sending their kids to high school and college, we are starting over. I love God's plan for us and wouldn't have it any other way.
